Bernal
January 16, 2009
Okay, so Bernal might have been my favorite part of the trip. The winery was just a great perk. Bernal is a tiny town where the third largest rock in the world sits, which is funny because the town itself is so small. There are great craftsmen in Bernal, who make many beautiful wool products. I love and enjoy textiles tremendously. I have collected a wonderful quantity of textiles since I have had access to so many vendors through Southstar. There is something about textiles that is so inspiring to me. I can’t get enough. The plump piles of wool yarn were so thick and rich in color. You will see in some of my photos how great the color and texture photographed. I was in heaven for the 15 minutes that we were able to check it all out. The people of Mexico are so talented.
